Community rules

1. Our community

Pump App is a fitness community for real people who want to train together, motivate each other, and grow. We call ourselves Pumpers — and we keep our community clean, authentic, and respectful.

These rules protect every member. They apply without exception.

2. General conduct

2.1 Respect

• Treat other Pumpers the way you want to be treated.
• Constructive criticism is welcome — personal attacks, insults, and humiliation are not.
• No bullying, stalking, or deliberate harassment of other users.

2.2 No hate

• Content that discriminates against people based on body type, gender, origin, religion, sexual orientation, or disability is prohibited.
• Body shaming — in any direction — is not tolerated.

2.3 No spam

• No mass messages, chain posts, or repetitive content.
• Advertising for external products or services without explicit permission from Pump App is prohibited.

3. Rules for posts and images

3.1 Allowed content

• Workout videos and photos
• Training progress and results
• Splits, routines, and tips
• Motivating and inspiring content related to fitness and health

3.2 Prohibited content

• Sexually explicit or suggestive images
• Depictions of violence
• Content that shows or glorifies dangerous or illegal practices
• Content that identifies other users without their consent

3.3 AI-generated images — prohibited

• Posting AI-generated images is strictly prohibited without exception.
• This applies to all AI image generators (for example Midjourney, DALL-E, Stable Diffusion, and others).
• Pump App stands for authentic content — real people, real progress.
• Images identified or reported as AI-generated will be removed without warning.

4. Chat rules

4.1 Direct messages

• Direct messages may only be used for respectful, wanted communication.
• Unsolicited advertising, spam, or harassment via DM is prohibited.
• Sexually harassing or threatening messages result in an immediate ban (see section 7).

4.2 Workout cards and shared content in chat

• Workout cards and other content shared in chat are subject to the same rules as public posts.
• Do not share third-party content without their consent.

5. Bots, automation and AI — prohibited

5.1 No bots

• Automated accounts (bots) are prohibited.
• Automated liking, commenting, following, or posting is prohibited — regardless of purpose.

5.2 No AI identities

• It is prohibited to operate an account that is controlled by an AI or that represents an AI persona.
• All accounts must represent real, natural persons.

5.3 No AI-generated content passed off as your own

• Texts fully generated by AI and presented as your own statements or personal experiences are prohibited.
• AI tools used for assistance (for example spell check) are allowed — using AI to fake personal experiences is not.

6. Special rules for verified accounts (Pump Stars)

Pump Stars are verified members with elevated visibility and influence in the community. This status comes with greater responsibility.

6.1 Higher standards

• Pump Stars represent Pump App publicly. Their behavior reflects the values of our community.
• All general rules apply to Pump Stars in a stricter form.
• Pump Stars are role models — violations that result in a warning for regular users may result in immediate loss of status for Pump Stars.

6.2 Authenticity — zero tolerance

• AI-generated images are absolutely prohibited for Pump Stars — including content labeled as “experimental” or clearly marked as AI.
• Bots and automated engagement are prohibited — including for growing your own reach.
• Pump Stars must represent their achievements, physique, and training progress authentically and without manipulation.

6.3 Advertising transparency

• Sponsored content or product recommendations must be clearly and visibly labeled as advertising.
• Concealing commercial interests is a violation of these rules and of applicable EU law.

6.4 No abuse of status

• Pump Star status may not be used to pressure, manipulate, or unfairly favor other users.
• Pump Stars may not use their status for external advertising deals outside of Pump App without full disclosure.

7. Strike system

Strike 1 — warning

• Upon a first violation, the user receives an official warning.
• The offending content is removed.
• The user is informed of the violation and the consequences of a further offense.
• Warnings do not expire — they remain permanently on record.

Strike 2 — permanent ban

• Upon a second violation — regardless of type or time elapsed — the account is permanently suspended.
• Suspended accounts cannot be reactivated.
• All content from the suspended account is removed.

Immediate ban (no warning)

The following violations result in a permanent ban without warning:

• Sexual abuse or depiction of minors (CSAM) — reported to authorities
• Doxxing (publishing private information about others without consent)
• Direct threats to life or physical safety
• Fraud or identity theft
• Coordinated bot attacks or large-scale platform manipulation

Pump Stars — stricter strike system

8. Reporting violations

• Any user can report posts, images, and chats directly within the app.
• Reported content is reviewed by the Pump App team.
• False or abusive reports may also result in consequences.
• Questions or appeals can be directed to help@g-dev.at.

9. Changes to these rules

• Pump App reserves the right to update these rules at any time.
• Users will be notified in-app of significant changes.
• Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated rules.

10. Legal

These community rules supplement the Pump App Terms of service. In case of conflict, the Terms of service prevail. Pump App is an Austrian product — Austrian and EU law applies.
